Mentor worked with Houdini's to develop their new and improved website. Initial stakeholder engagement sessions established that the key objective was to inform users of the experiences they offer and drive Escape Room bookings across all locations. To do this we delivered a full-service offering, which included:
- Discovery - user personas & research
- Project planning & stakeholder engagement workshops
- UX and design
- HTML and Umbraco CMS development
- Booking engine integration
What we did
Mentor carried out user research to identify the key audiences for the website and booking systems. The website user types identifies included families, friend groups, birthday parties, and hen/stag dos. Secondary persona groups were made up of corporate teams.
As a result of this analysis, the collective effort of our UX and creative team has resulted in a stylish, impactful, and easy to navigate website for Houdini's, designed to maximise sales and conversions. The product built ensures users can easily move between locations on the website, and its accessible design provides clear details on the experiences offered in each location and how they differ.
