GWR asked Mentor Digital to produce an evocative 50 second customer experience film for social media promoting their updated Night Riviera Sleeper service from London to Cornwall.

Mentor’s Creative Producer boarded the train ahead of any passengers at Paddington and began shooting film and stills. He continued to shoot for the journey to Penzance, highlighting new cabin features and levels of comfort and capturing compelling images of iconic landmarks including Brunel’s Tamar Bridge at night and Truro Cathedral at dawn.
The film — with original composed music by Steve Evans (Robert Plant, Siouxsie Sioux, Goldfrapp) — and a set of stills were then turned around in a few days in time for a mayoral launch in Cornwall. GWR were delighted with the result.
