Mentor Digital is delighted to announce that we have been awarded the full creative graphic design, UX and video production contract for one of the UK’s largest bowling chains, Tenpin.
Mentor Digital has worked as Tenpin’s technical agency for over 10 years and has developed all their public facing websites and e-commerce activity booking solutions.
Tenpin is the UK's second largest bowling organisation, running 48 centres across the UK with over 4.5 million visitors a year. Mentor Digital has partnered with Tenpin to offer our design services as their newly appointed creative agency. This is a fantastic opportunity to further our relationship and we look forward to working with Tenpin for many years to come.
Creative design retainer
As well as a monthly retainer for website development, Mentor Digital has now implemented a monthly creative retainer which allows us to support Tenpin with services such as campaign design, social assets, video production and even animation for their in-centre screens. Tenpin approached Mentor wanting a look and feel that would reflect their state-of-the-art entertainment offering.
In addition to over 1,100 bowling lanes, Tenpin offers a wide range of entertainment options including the likes of laser tag, escape rooms, karaoke, and a great variety of food and drink offering. They wanted this offering to be explicit across their marketing assets, to deliver a clear message to customers that it’s ‘more than just bowling’.
Mentor designed Tenpin’s current website using the excellent open-source Umbraco CMS platform, which provides highly secure, enterprise level, content management experiences with no ongoing licenses. We were proud to win the best of show award at the 2020 Umbraco awards for the Tenpin website, which was praised by the judges for the intuitive design and micro-UX features throughout the site.
Since starting this new agreement, Mentor Digital’s creative team has produced a large array of assets for Tenpin to be used across the website, social media and in-centre, to encourage customer interaction and loyalty. Mentor first started by putting together some early-stage creative concepts, which would pave the way for Tenpin's new look and feel moving forward. This new design was then used to roll out the concept for Tenpin's October half-term deal.
Mentor has developed a fantastic relationship with the Tenpin team over the last 12 years of working on their technical solutions and we are delighted that our growing, award-winning creative team has now won the contract for all of the design work to support their campaigns.
Mentor looks forward to continuing to work alongside Tenpin to produce some exciting creative concepts that will strive to keep Tenpin at the top of their game and increase footfall and loyalty across all centres. We are also working on some major new projects which we are very excited to announce in the coming months!
