Clifton College wanted to update their website to reflect their status as an aspirational public school. They wanted a site that would offer a compelling user journey across multiple devices, be fun and interactive and have a streamlined admissions process.

Mentor worked closely with Clifton College during the planning stages of the site, and our project management team hosted a series of on-site stakeholder engagement workshops with students, parents and staff, in order to identify requirements, discuss specific user journeys and get an understanding of the intended site structure and messaging. 

Mentor carried out UX design and testing, creating wireframes and interactive prototypes, and also provided all technical development services. Our team has delivered a site that is responsive across mobile, tablet and desktop, has interactive video and news content, integrated calendars and social media feeds.

There is also a sophisticated content workflow that allows older versions of content to be rolled back to, content to be edited and saved while the original content is live, and publishing controls are in place, allowing the website staff to have final say on what is live.

Since launch feedback has been hugely positive, and Mentor is continuing to work closely with Clifton College on their Digital Marketing Strategy.

A custom designed end-to-end digital marketing solution to manage the unique customer journey of high-end education prospects

Clifton College asked Mentor Digital to create an end-to-end solution for their marketing and digital marketing campaigns whereby we could track every single parent enquiry to the college from first interaction all the way through to the pupil being admitted.

This involved using a call tracking system along with advanced website macro testing techniques to assign a source of enquiry to each CRM entry, whether that was a search engine, word of mouth recommendation or PPC ad (to name but a few).

This data has been streamlined and analysed to inform sophisticated marketing campaigns where the best point of contact point of undecided parents is during their decision making process to help them make the right choice for their children.

Mentor Digital then blended this system with a content marketing and social media strategy based around important events in the school year such as Open Days.
