Thames Water SRO website

Thames Water provide water to 16 million people in London and the Thames Valley. The Strategic Resource Options (SRO) team are responsible for developing new infrastructure to tackle and prevent future drought scenarios.

After a competitive tender, Mentor Digital were delighted to rebuild Thames Water’s SRO website in Umbraco 13 ensuring it was flexible for the future evolution of the SRO projects.

Mentor delivered:

  • Umbraco 13 implementation
  • Suite of core components in the CMS to be used interchangeably, styled in the Thames Water branding
  • Assistance with rolling out first statutory consultation content pages and documents

Approach

We worked with Thames Water collaboratively from understanding their website requirements through our discovery sessions, guiding them through the development and testing periods to training the team on the new CMS.

Using Mentor’s intuitive and versatile ‘starter kit’ components, we were able to build Thames Water a robust Umbraco 13 website which gave them more flexibility than ever before. The variety and design of the components continues to empower content editors to create the content required quickly and easily.

Mentor continues to support the Thames Water SRO team as their projects progress through statutory consultation to construction and beyond.
