Mentor Digital worked with one of the UK’s largest housing associations Affinity Sutton to create a large-scale online residents’ portal. The portal serves 50,000 residents across the UK and allows them to view online billing information, pay their accounts, and to categorise and book repairs, as well as offering personalised information for regional areas.

Our team carried out wire-framing, UX testing and graphic design during phase 1 of this project to design a portal that was friendly and accessible whilst providing easy to navigate secure financial information. Mentor was then chosen as software development partner to create the bespoke systems.

Mentor Digital’s software team developed the portal website and CMS along with a bespoke API (Application Programming Interface) which the customer portal website calls upon every time it communicates with any other system. The API acts as the communications hub between the back office and the website front-end, while also offering the ability to manage e-commerce integration and communication with a 3rd party payment processing provider.
