Mentor Digital launches new corporate website for Wincanton PLC

Mentor Digital was responsible for the end to end production of the FTSE500 company’s website and the agency’s senior team led the planning process from scoping and site-mapping workshops, through to wire-framing and user-experience testing sessions. Clear and bright seasonal graphic designs were applied to the wireframes before an adapted open source .Net CMS was put in place for Wincanton to manage the website content. The website makes use of modern interface techniques to deliver easy to browse news, search, events and video content.

The new Wincanton corporate website also includes the previously separate investor relations website. This site allows users to browse the corporate’s investment proposition, reports and presentation and FAQs, and allows investors to subscribe to alerts by email.

Mentor’s MD Holland Risley said “It’s been really enjoyable working with Wincanton’s marketing team on this project, and the website is now a real flagship project for us. The project approach and the inclusion of the planning and scoping workshops along with the UX testing process has been really successful and has ensured that all the regional teams and departments felt included in the development of their website. Mentor will continue working with Wincanton over the next year to deliver a number of additional websites for the group.
